Magazine contents page analysis.

This is the contents page for Closer magazine, I think it has a nice layout and looks better than the cover. It's simple, but despite this is does look nice. I like the use of the same colours that are on the cover and they all go really well together. I also like how the different articles have been split according to what they're about. The images they use go with the different stories in the magazines and this differs each issue because there is different things in the magazine each issue.

This is the contents page for Good Food magazine, I think it's set out ok, but there is a lot going on and I think there's too much text for one page, this would put me off buying it because I wouldn't want to read all through that. I like the use of colours for the headings as they are quite nice colours, the pictures obviously go with the magazine as they are pictures of food but I think there should be more pictures and less text because that might entice people into the magazine more and encourage them to buy it.

This is the contents page for NME magazine, I like the simplicity of it, the fonts look nice together and they are right for the magazine. I like how the headings are set out down the side, I think that looks alot better than having the actually contents list down the middle because it leaves room for a bigger picture. I like the colours use because although they are fairly simple they really do work together, if I looked at the contents page as a whole instead of reading through what was in the magazine, I think I would buy it, because it looks worth it.
