software I used

The software I have used to create my magazines are photoshop, microsoft publisher and microsoft word. Word and publisher are basic and easy to use, but photoshop is a lot more complicated and I had to look into how to do some things that I needed to do such as using different layers so I could put font over my pictures on the cover and the contents page. I used two different cameras for my pictures, for the college magazine I used a nikon cool pix and for the music magazine I used a Samsung NX100. Both cameras were relitavely easy to use and there were no problems when I was taking the pictures.

ideas for college magazine

The ideas I have had for my college magazine are that I want it to catch the eye of the person who picks it up, but I want it to also be neat and conservative. I want it to be simplistic and the fonts I have decided to use will probably reflect this. Some ideas for articles I have had are an article about parking at the college, mobile phone bills or transport/travel costs.

The first picture is the original picture that I took and the second picture is the same picture edited. It is the main picture for my front cover. To edit the picture I used the clone tool and the red eye removal tool on photoshop.
